Terms & Conditions

Information on how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Flipside Energy $10,000 Giveaway (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter is Flipside Energy Pty Ltd (ABN 87 660 759 357) of Level 10, 440 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (“Promoter”).

• Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 16 years or older.
• Employees, contractors, directors, officers, agents and immediate family members of the Promoter or associated agencies are ineligible to enter.
• Immediate family includes spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew or first cousin.
• The Promoter reserves the right to verify age, identity and eligibility.

• The Promotion opens at 12:00am AEST on 1st of July and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 31st of July.
• No late entries accepted.

To enter, participants must during the Promotion Period:

• Create an original video featuring Flipside Energy
• Upload the video to the official Flipside competition website
• Complete all required entry information
• Entry is free.
• Multiple entries are permitted, provided each submission is materially different.

Entries must not:

• Be offensive, defamatory or inappropriate
• Contain unlawful content
• Infringe third-party intellectual property
• Misrepresent Flipside or associated persons

The Promoter may remove entries at its discretion.

• Eligible entries may be displayed on the Flipside competition website for public voting.
• Members of the public may vote for their favourite entry during the voting period.
• The Promoter reserves the right to remove fraudulent votes, exclude bot-generated votes, disqualify manipulated voting behaviour, and suspend voting where abuse is detected.
• Public voting is intended to recognise popular entries and encourage engagement only.
• Public voting does not solely determine the winner.

• This Promotion is a game of skill. Chance plays no part.
• Following the close of voting, a judging panel appointed by Flipside Energy will review eligible entries.
• Entries will be judged based on creativity, storytelling, and relevance to the Flipside brand.
• The judging panel may consider public voting as one factor but retains sole and absolute discretion in determining the winner.
• All decisions are final. No correspondence will be entered into.

• One (1) winner will receive: AUD $10,000 cash.
• Total prize pool value: AUD $10,000.
• Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for goods or services unless determined by the Promoter.
• The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value if necessary.

• The winner will be announced via Flipside livestream on 30 July [YEAR].
• The winner will also be contacted using their provided contact details.
• If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, or fails eligibility verification, the Promoter may select an alternate winner.

By entering, each entrant grants the Promoter a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable licence to:

• use, reproduce, edit, crop, adapt, publish, broadcast, distribute, and display their submitted content in any media now known or later developed.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Social media
• Website
• Digital advertising
• Paid marketing campaigns
• Retail POS materials
• Packaging
• PR and publicity

No further payment, royalty or compensation is payable to entrants. The Promoter may edit, crop, retouch or otherwise modify submitted content at its discretion.

Each entrant warrants that:

• Their submission is original.
• They own or control all rights to submitted content.
• Their entry does not infringe third-party rights.
• Any person appearing in the video is aged 18+ or has guardian consent.
• All persons featured consent to their likeness being used.

Entrants indemnify the Promoter against claims arising from breach of these warranties.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activity requested by Flipside Energy, including interviews, photography, filming or social media content. The winner grants Flipside the right to use their name, image, voice and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

The Promoter may disqualify entrants who:

• Tamper with the entry process
• Use automated systems or bots
• Engage in vote buying or manipulation
• Provide false or misleading information
• Breach these Terms

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for technical failures, website outages, lost or corrupted uploads, voting interruptions, unauthorised third-party interference, or delayed or misdirected entries. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, modify or cancel the Promotion where necessary.

Personal information collected will be used to administer this Promotion and may be used for future promotional communications where consent is provided. Information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The Promotion is governed by the laws of Australia.
